Incidence - The American Cancer society- estimates that 215,990 of the 668,470 (32%) new cases of cancer will be due to breast cancer estimated for 2004 (highest rate of any cancer amongst women).

Mortality ~ The American Cancer Society estimates that 40. ] 10 of the 272,810 (25%) female cancer deaths will be caused by breast cancer in 2004 (2nd highest rate for any cancer amongst women).
