The three sites maintained by California skeptics are in support of this goal:  Medical science, to promote knowledge and avoid quackery and poor medical practices; skepticism, to avoid packing the brain with beliefs in things greater than the evidence there for merits; and political analysis, to effectively contribute to needed political reforms.
